A little bit about me

Responsible, creative, and full of energy—I’m the oldest of five siblings, so babysitting is second nature to me. My aunt runs a daycare, giving me hands-on experience with kids of all ages. I’ve cared for everything from dogs and cats to ferrets, snakes, and even spiders, so pets are no problem! I write songs and stories, play multiple instruments, and can whip up a decent meal. Need deep cleaning? I’ve got that covered too. Plus, I have reliable transportation, so getting to you is never an issue. Your kids (and pets) are in good hands!

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids active and engaged! With my background in D2 volleyball at Roosevelt University and years of playing soccer, baseball, track and field, cross country, and cycling, I enjoy organizing fun sports games and outdoor activities. I can also teach the basics of bowling for a little friendly competition. For creative time, I love writing stories and songs, playing instruments, and encouraging kids to explore their imagination. Whether it’s active play, arts and crafts, or helping with homework, I make sure every moment is fun and meaningful!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where kids feel valued and supported. It’s about being a role model, a caregiver, and a friend—someone they can trust and learn from. Every child is unique, and I believe in nurturing their interests, encouraging their creativity, and making them feel at home, even when their parents are away.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a toddler I was watching insisted on giving me a “makeover.” I thought it would be harmless—maybe some pretend makeup or a cute hairstyle. Nope. Five minutes later, I had half a jar of peanut butter smeared in my hair, stickers covering my face, and a tutu wrapped around my head like a turban. The best part? The kid looked me dead in the eyes and said, “You’re beautiful… like a fancy chicken.” I’ve never laughed harder in my life.

Asia M. - Seeking Work in Chicago

Live-In Part-Time Nanny Available in Chicago, IL: Asia M.

I have a 7 year old son and I want to help other people! I love being silly in an educational way and I like to let my son know everything can be educational! I also love when children ask questions so I can explain it to them, but sometimes I shut it down because they don’t need to know the answer at that time! I also like to cook, bake and depending on the child’s age I let them help if they want. No worries they won’t touch the stove!
Gracie C. - Seeking Work in Chicago

Part-Time Nanny Available in Chicago, IL: Gracie C.

Hi my name is Gracie! I am 19 years old and I am currently out for the summer for school and I just finished up my first year of college!
I don’t have much experience in paid babysitting, but growing up around kids my whole life has taught me to take care of kids ages from 0-9 years. For the past 3 summers i’ve been a Recreational Leader at Armour Square Park, and that allows me to work with kids from ages 4-10. I personally love kids myself, walks are fun, car rides are fun, I love being inside and outside (depending on the weather ofc). I am the oldest sibling of 3 so I personally believe I have a lot of experience and responsibilities.
