A little bit about me

I have been caring for children since I was in high school, from my younger siblings and cousins to working in camps and afterschool programs. I enjoy spending time with children and helping them become great little people. While working at the NYC Botanical Garden I cared for toddlers and helped them cultivate a small patch of garden. I also encouraged them to try new vegetables and foods to expose them to healthy eating habits. I love to cook healthy and creative meals!

I have also worked with young teenagers at a program called Legal Outreach and created engaging study skills that helped their studies. While studying at Frankin & Marshall college I worked with teens at the MOSIACS program teaching students art skills and lending an ear to them.

I have worked at a children's garden running activities for children aged 4-6. We practiced gardening, tried new vegetables, and created recipes together.

I also created lesson plans for children aged 12+ to create study habits and provided homework help. I also developed art activities that were engaging and talked about art history.

I love going to the park and playing sports. I'm also an avid walker so I love going on walks around the city and parks.

I enjoy doing arts and crafts activities with any household items. As well as doing drawing exercises!
