She gave us updates via text, which was a nice way to keep us updated on our daughter's activities. We ended up having to let her go because I started working from home as Covid started to happen. The most important part about being a nanny...
I have way too many favorite moments to name. Building a massive pillow fort to read picture books in. Watching the kids put on a talent show for me and an audience of toys. Basically, any chance to be creative and go all in on fun activities. Parents can and do play with their kids in ways like these day in and day out, and that’s awesome! But by virtue of my role, I’m only with the kids for a few hours, and if I can somehow make that time special for them… that’s my happiest time.
