Aside from local babysitting jobs I’ve had here and there since I was 12, I worked the last two years as a substitute teacher working with grades K-12.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Ultimately I love doing activities that the kids I’m with like to do. Playing with toys, coloring, using their imagination, going to the park, playing ball, etc. as long as it involves being up and exercising the child’s imagination, mind, or body, I am all for it!
My experience with special needs children...
I worked in my local school district for two years. The first year, I worked specifically with kids who have special needs, learning disabilities, and social disabilities. I learned very quickly that those with special needs are truly a blessing. I have never met kids that are more creative and smart with wild imagination and ideas!
