My experience with special needs children...
I work with my cousin and my nephew both are nonverbal and one has autism. They are 2 and 17 They are not always quiet and still babies they are very active and I love them for that. They require changing and baths and to be fed properly because they can not communicate that themselves so I keep a close eye out while making sure I give them reasonable space.
