A little bit about me

I am a stay at home mom of 3 wonderful college children. Twin, identical boys and a beautiful daughter. It has been my greatest accomplishment in this life to be able to be their mom and raise them at home. My husband and I have been married for almost 27yrs and we are a very close, happy family. While staying home, I also did some childcare for a number of children. From 6 weeks-almost middle school, I cherish the time I had helping raise all the children I did. They are all grown now and thriving beautifully today as young adults. My passion and love for children is undeniable and it shows with how much children accept me. I believe children thrive on a schedule, structure, good morals/manners, creativity, imagination and most of all love. Raising children is not easy and it takes a lot of care, love and patience. There is no handbook we receive and if you just watch and listen to the child, you will understand them and what they need. My favorite thing in life is caring for kids💞

Hi, I am Aimee, a caring, dependable, and nurturing person with many years of hands-on childcare experience. As a stay-at-home mom of three, now off living their young adult lives, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, loved, supported, and encouraged. I have also had the rewarding experience of running an in-home childcare business while creating a fun, structured, and welcoming environment.

I love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature, playing, and encouraging children to stay active. In addition to my childcare experience, I have owned and operated a house cleaning business, which has taught me to be responsible, organized, hardworking, and attentive to detail. I genuinely enjoy caring for children and helping families succeed. I have a very flexible schedule and also my own transportation.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children are the most important humans in this world. From the time they're born, they rely on us for learning, growing, and becoming successful adults. It is my passion to help with this. I care very dearly for them as individuals for love, support, structure, personality, and self confidence. I love to talk with them, learn with them, play with them and imagine with them.
I always say, my children are my greatest accomplishment in life and I still learn from them everyday.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a daughter with sensory issues since birth, and have a lot of knowledge with therapy and activities for making everyday life better.
I also have a Neice who is on the spectrum and have loved being a part of her life and helping her grow and learn.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have identical twin boys and when they were little on one Saturday morning as my husband and I were sleeping in a bit, I woke to hearing them out in our kitchen area giggling and laughing with each other. To my surprise, they had both climbed on the counter, gotten into the salt and pepper and had it dumped all over the counter. They were sitting in it playing like it was a sand box. It was so funny and cute and I said, well, there are other things we could be playing with aren't there, boys? They giggled and got down. My daughter use to love our little poodle mix dog and she had a loft bed at one time. She called for help with the pup in her room, I came in and she had created somewhat of an elevator out of a play basket and a long rope. She wanted him in her bed to play and he was too heavy to carry up herself. The basket kept tipping as she tried to pull him up and he would tumble out onto the carpet. "Mom, can you help me with this elevator please?" It was so great. I loved it
