My experience with special needs children...
I was the Unified Student Coordinator for the Unified program at my school. Unified is an inclusive club sponsored by Special Olympics. It acts as a bridge for neurodivergent and neurotypical students to get to know each other and become friends. I acted a partner to them as I assisted in bowling, track, kickball, games, coloring, and even more! It was my favorite activity in high school and I will miss it and the people very much!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is when I would see the kids from the daycare I worked at out with their parents and the kids would recognize me with big smiles!
