I have two younger brothers that I have taken care of since they were babies in order to help my single mother work and go to school. I also occasionally babysit for any family friends when the occasion may arise. I have taken care of kids of any age.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Spending time outdoors is very important to me. I usually spend some afternoons riding bikes outside with my brothers or playing basketball. I enjoy spending time swimming. I also am able to commute to local parks and playgrounds. I am also willing to walk and care for any pets. I am an incredibly creative person and I enjoy doing arts and crafts that stimulate the mind.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my cousins is a nanny and my favorite thing about her experience that I have observed is the connections she establishes with the kids. They become her second family. I think that connecting and creating meaningful moments with the kids is what's truly important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not taken care of children with special needs yet. I understand that they adhere to a routine and I am willing to accommodate myself to them.

Kids normally radiate towards me, I enjoy hearing all their blabber and little stories they have to tell. I also enjoy the compliments that we give each other.
