Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience working with children in a children’s psychiatric transitional home, as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and I also nannied for several years. In the transitional home, I supported children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and creating a safe, structured environment. As an RBT, I work one-on-one with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills using patience, positive reinforcement, and individualized support. I’m also a mom, which has given me even more hands-on experience and understanding when it comes to caring for children. Overall, my background has helped me build strong patience, reliability, and the ability to create a nurturing environment where kids feel safe, supported, and cared for.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of fun and engaging activities with kids, including outdoor play, walks, trips to the park, arts and crafts, reading books, sensory play, pretend play, puzzles, music and dancing, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also love helping with routines like snack time, mealtime, and nap time while making the day feel fun, safe, and structured.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making children feel safe, loved, and cared for while also giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is in good hands. I love building trusting relationships with both children and families and creating a nurturing environment where kids can feel comfortable, happy, and supported.

I have experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as well as in a children’s transitional home.
