Hello! I am AJ. I am 18 years old, and have tons of professional and non- professional babysitting experience. I am the 4th oldest of 10 children. I’ve grown up around children my entire life, always being a huge help to my loving parents. In my free time I enjoy reading and playing with my siblings. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I cared for a special needs 17 month old from October to February. I sadly had to stop working for this family once his health problems worsened. I worked for two children of the ages 7 months and a one year old from March to August of 2019. I also sat for my mother for my now 7 year old brother.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a hiker, so I love the outdoors! I enjoy taking the children I babysit for walks and trails. I enjoy biking with my family, and I love reading time. I am a huge book nerd, so I try to incorporate books into everything.

My experience with special needs children...

I cared for a sweet 17 month old baby who suffered from a stroke as a new born. I had to learn sign language and incorporate sign into our daily activities. I also had to do physical therapy with him daily. He had a stroke on the right side of his brain, which left him to be handicapped.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I saw the special needs child that I sat for, walk for the very first time. I warmed my heart that all of our hard work in physical therapy payed off.
