A little bit about me

My name is Aja (pronounced Asia.) I attend the Ohio State University pursuing a career in early childhood education. I am from northeast Ohio, however I will be in the Columbus area throughout school, in between some breaks and over summer! I love children and I believe coming from a big loving family has influenced me to become a teacher for younger children. I love interacting with children and teaching them as well. I have been a babysitter/nanny for at least five years. I come from a large family being one of five children. Three of which are triplets (two girls and a boy, one has Autism), that I've grown up looking after and taking to and from events. They are now 12 years old and I still watch them occasionally to help my parents! I am an aunt to three beautiful little girls (and one on the way!) They are ages 1, 6 and 8. I have also babysat for family friends ranging from ages 1-13. (Have looked after pets as well, being I have two dogs!) Pursuing a career in the education field, I have had lots of experience in the field, from observing (grades K-12), student teaching (in kindergarten) and tutoring (third and fourth grade.)
