A little bit about me

I've been taking care of kids my entire life. I'm passionate about leading by example and working with the kids to solve problems. While caretaking I love to plan fun, educational activities, if possible, outside. I've traveled a lot throughout my life and picked up a lot of hobbies like: cooking, painting, crafting, sowing, canyoneering, creative planning etc. that I love sharing with the people I take care of.
I started babysitting when I was 10 years old for my family and relatives. By the time I was 12 I was consistently taking care of neighborhood kids. Since then I've watched people from 6 weeks - 79 years old. I've watched older people with mental disabilities, as well as children with down syndrome. I've learned a lot of techniques to get people to do what the need to do willingly and happily, even when they usually really don't want to.
