Hello! my name is Alajah Owens-Chavis, and I am a now 19-year-old senior. I graduate this year and plan on becoming a dental assistant or work in childcare. I am a dancer/dance teacher, part time I teach a kids dance class in downtown Raleigh, but the company I did work for closed down, I love kids with all my heart I have worked with kids from volunteering at daycares, working at fun parks, to babysitting. I feel like every kid needs someone to look up too and I want to leave a little teaching in every kid.

I love dancing with kids I have taught a few routines to kids before, I like teaching them a few cooking things and art we can play outside and do small projects.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is safety, yes you can have as much fun as you want with kids but at the end of the day there is still danger everywhere and you need to be aware of your surroundings, I also teach this into the kids as well.

My experience with special needs children...

The most experience i have had with special needs children is hosting a dance class with them, I know they need extra care but besides that I have little to no experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was watching these 3 little girls and 1 boy, and we did a parade. and surprised the parents. The oldest was in the front with the toy baton the girls did a little dance, and the boy had his drum to beat on.
