My experience with special needs children...
I’ve provided extended care for a 5 year old girl with Down syndrome alongside her 1 year old brother for 1.5 weeks while the parents were away in Punta Cana. This included but wasn’t limited to camp/daycare pick up and drop off, lunch packing, breakfast and dinner prep, laundry, play, and cleaning.
I’ve also cared for a 2 year old with a rare genetic disorder that required G-tube feeding and developmentally wise placed her in a 9 month old range.
I have a lots of experience with children with autism spectrum disorder.
