More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Hi! I’m Ali, and caring for kids has always been second nature to me. I’ve spent years looking after my younger siblings, helping friends with their little ones, and even supporting children who came into the physical therapy office that were disabled and needed extra love and care where I worked — keeping them entertained and calm while their parents got care. These hands-on experiences taught me patience, empathy, and how to connect with kids of all ages. I’m comfortable with everything from toddler tantrums to teen conversations, and I always show up with a calm attitude, a warm heart, and a genuine love for helping families feel supported and stress-free
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a big fan of Soccer, basketball, running, ice cream runs, walking in the park, swimming, football, bounce houses, reading, coloring and drawing art!
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is the bond you build — the kind where a child runs to you with their arms wide open, or tells you their little secrets because they know they’re safe with you. It’s about being that comforting, dependable person in their world — someone who shows up with love, patience, and understanding, even on the tough days. Watching them grow, knowing you had a hand in shaping their confidence and joy… that’s the kind of fulfillment you can’t put into words.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the sweetest moments I’ve had was with a little girl I cared for regularly. One night before bed, she gave me a big hug and said, “I wish you could stay forever.” We had just finished reading her favorite story (for the third time!), and she felt so safe and happy she didn’t want the night to end. Moments like that remind me why I love caregiving — it’s not just about keeping kids busy, it’s about being someone they can trust and feel comforted by.

Babysitter Available in Brooklyn, NY: Veranika H.
Hi! My name is Veranika and I am a student at Cornell University pursuing Bachelors of Architecture degree. I immigrated to New York City from Belarus and have been living here ever since. I am an older sister, and I love working with children! Although I do not have any prior nanny experience, I was a secretary for an organization called "Future World Vision" that worked with Brooklyn Technical High School, my alma mater. I have supervised and worked with 10 middle schoolers (ages 10 to 14) in building, learning, and presenting their sustainable mini-house to a board of alumni and partnering middle schools. I am very excited to help anyone who is in need.
Babysitter Available in Brooklyn, NY: Jasmina J.
Hi! I’m currently a student and looking for a babysitting opportunity. While I don’t have official babysitting experience yet, I’ve always loved being around children and naturally connect with them very well. I’m very patient, caring, and energetic, and I enjoy making kids laugh, spending time with them, and being someone they feel comfortable around. I’m often described as having an “older sister” type of personality because I like giving advice, helping out, and making sure kids feel supported and safe.
Right now, during the school year, I’m mainly available on weekdays after school and more flexible on weekends. During the summer, I’ll have much more availability and be able to work more hours. I’m dependable, eager to learn, and excited for the opportunity to help families however I can!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Brooklyn, NY: Lilly M.
Hi! My name is Lilly, and I have been babysitting regularly since I was 14 years old. I absolutely adore working with kids and creating an imaginative, safe, and creative environment for them to grow in. I’m very friendly, bubbly, and patient, and I especially adore caring for babies. Outside of childcare, I love visual arts and reading, surrounding myself with people I love, and being outside as much as possible. I also have two dogs and a bunny, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I am currently looking for a part-time or full-time nanny position and would love the opportunity to support a wonderful family!
Babysitter Available in Brooklyn, NY: Mina M.
Hi families! I’m a responsible, caring, and trustworthy babysitter based in Brooklyn, available for evenings and weekends in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and parts of Queens. I work full-time as an elevator consultant and am also a college graduate looking to earn some extra income doing something meaningful — helping families and spending time with kids.
I’m fluent in Serbian and English, and happy to support bilingual households or help introduce Serbian through books, play, and conversation.
I grew up around childcare — my mother has been a nanny and an elementary school teacher for over 20 years, so I naturally developed a warm, patient, and safe approach when caring for children. While I’m not a full-time nanny, I take my role seriously and aim to be the kind of sitter parents can count on and kids enjoy spending time with.
