Hi! We’re Jalisa and Shelby, two experienced and caring babysitters based in Iowa City. We’re both 17, and Shelby will be turning 18 soon. Jalisa is a junior at City High School, and Shelby attends West High School. Together, we bring a wide range of childcare experience — from caring for children of all ages to working at the Chicago Public Library during past summers, where we helped run children’s programs and events. Both of us are CPR and First Aid certified, and Shelby also has her driver’s permit.

Families can book either one of us individually, or—if you feel more comfortable with two sitters—you can book us as a team. Whether it’s one of us or both, the rate stays the same: $14.70 per hour.
We’re friendly, patient, fun, and truly love supporting different families and their children. With flexible hours and availability anytime, we’re ready to provide safe, reliable, and joyful care for your little ones.
