Hello! My name is Alessandra and I am 22 years old. I recently graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in May 2020 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A in Spanish. I have a lot of experience with childcare/nannying! I began when I was 15 years old and have cared for children of varying ages (1-16 years olor), and for children with special needs. I am extremely responsible and reliable when it comes to childcare, but I am also flexible, outgoing and go with the flow! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

During the Fall 2018 and 2019 I volunteered as the assistant soccer coach of a YMCA team! The team consisted of both boys and girls, ages 8 to 10 years old! While in college I was a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and mentored my Little Sister for 4 years (from ages 13-17).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being active with the children that I care for, and being outside! For example, I enjoy bike riding, walking, swimming, playing sports, etc. I also love to do arts and crafts, paint and bake!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny requires you to be patient, creative and kind, but most importantly you must be flexible and be able to go with the flow! Things are constantly changing (not to mention children change their minds too!) and I believe a responsible nanny must able to adapt and adjust, in a mature manner, to any new situation they are faced with!
