The most important part about being a nanny...
At this time in my day care career I was still new and a bit nervous I wasn’t very going to be approachable to the kids. I was sent outside to play with my group of kids (around 7 of them ages 3-5) it was chilly and mid to late fall. One girl around 3 said she was too cold and needed an extra jacket. I didn’t know what to do but I took my large wool jacket off and put it on her. She enjoyed running around the field in my jacket, arms dangling on the ground. She made a game of it, saying she was a snow monster and they all played tag! After that I could tell I was going to enjoy helping kids grow and have fun!
