A little bit about me

I’m great with kids and have always had a natural sense of responsibility when it comes to caring for others. I helped raise my younger sister, who’s now 17, so I’ve been looking after someone pretty much my whole life. I also have a lot of little cousins I’ve spent time with over the years, and I regularly spend time with a 9-year-old I’m very close to I see them almost every day. I may not have official babysitting experience, but I’ve got plenty of hands-on experience from real life. I know how to keep kids safe, entertained, and cared for in a way that makes them feel comfortable and understood.

I also have a dog and a cat that I’ve raised and loved for over 6 years, so I’m used to responsibility and have a lot of patience and empathy from taking care of both animals and kids.

I haven’t worked in a classroom or volunteered in a daycare, but I’ve gained real-life experience by helping raise my little sister and being hands-on with younger kids in my family. I’m consistently around children, especially a 9-year-old I see almost every day, which has taught me how to connect with kids, keep them safe, and support their needs in everyday situations.

I enjoy doing a mix of fun and creative activities with kids. Indoors, I like drawing, playing video games together, watching movies, reading books, and doing arts and crafts.
