A little bit about me

Hi, I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors in Education in December 2019. I am passionate about working with kids, specifically kids with special needs. I have volunteered with the YMCA Shooting Stars, two equine therapy barns, and Arts n Autism. I was also very involved with the Best Buddies campus organization and continue to share the message of inclusion.

I nannied for a few families until I started my manager position with the Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team. I also completed a special education practicum at The Rise School. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified through the American Red Cross and completed all necessary federal background checks to work in the school system. Before the pandemic started, I was shadowing multiple occupational therapists at different grade levels. I enjoy being creative with art/music and exploring the outdoors. I am looking to bond with a family and help in any way possible!
