I have been a camp counselor and worked in childcare for Church Project and other churches in the area. I have also volunteered with local non-profits and charities, caring for foster and adopted children.

I enjoy doing creative activities with my kids. Whether we are painting with watercolors, creating collages from flowers and items we gathered outside, or creating fun games to play together, I feel it is important to use creativity as an outlet for self-expression. I will always have something exciting planned for our time together, whether it be a craft, a picnic, or a museum trip.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating an environment that is safe, creative, and full of love. I value every child that I babysit and encourage open, honest, and kind communication. Every child is so different, and I see it as a privilege to be able to be there as they learn, grow, and explore both themselves and the world around them.
My experience with special needs children...
I've had the opportunity to care for a little girl with special needs for over a year until the family relocated. I've also been a babysitter for children on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is when the girls I watched and I decided to make a pillow fort! I loved seeing how much joy it brought them, and laughing together as we tried to figure out how to make the blankets and pillows form into the perfect shape. Sharing laughter with my kids is one of my favorite parts of the job.
