I worked in childcare for 10+ years working with children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years old. I also have worked 3 years as an ECE teachers assistant with students from pre-K to 5th grade.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am an arts and crafts enthusiasts! I also enjoy reading stories, singing silly songs and playtime. I believe outdoor play is essential, whether it's just going on walks, water play when the weather is nice or just simply exploring the great outdoors!
The most important part about being a nanny...
As I have mentioned before, although I have yet to experience the personal nanny life, I believe the most important part about being a caregiver is building a strong positive bond with both the child and family as a whole. Being someone who the family can trust, feel safe with, and depend on being a positive role model to set good examples. Then of course all the other fun that is just a bonus!

I have worked with a range of children in the school setting as an ECE teachers assistant where the children had both cognitive and behavioral needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have yet to experience the life as a personal nanny but I have several years of working with children in a daycare setting. However, some of my favorite memories are the ones where I've gotten to watch the children grow from precious little babies to smart and outgoing preschoolers. But, nothing beats the bond you create with not only the children but the families as well.
