A little bit about me

I just graduated from high school and am looking for a part-time job starting now and into the summer. I can work any day of the week, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I have two 8 year old step brothers that I take care of so I am used to dealing with kids that age. I read to them before bed almost every night. Right now, we are reading The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan. I also have taught them how to play simple songs and chords on my keyboard and to mix music on my computer. I believe it is important to read to kids and expose them to music and literature at a young age. I also take them to the park to play sports like basketball and soccer a few times a week. We also play basketball and catch here at our house everyday. I talk to them about the importance of exercise and eating healthy food. I believe it is important to teach kids those things when they are young to set up good habits for life. I plan to attend Fresno City College in the fall. I would love to work for your family.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I take care of my 8 year old step brothers all the time. I pick them up from school, get them a snack, take them to the park or play with them outside at our house. We play basketball, soccer, and football (two hand touch) a lot. I have my own car and drive them places like the park or to their friend's houses for play dates. I teach them about music production and how to play my keyboard and guitar. I also read to them almost every night before bed.
