More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For the past two years, I’ve worked in an elementary school setting—first as a Substitute Teacher and now as a Behavior Technician. My experience includes supporting children academically, socially, and emotionally, helping them navigate big feelings, strengthen their confidence, and stay engaged in learning. I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities and developmental needs, including children who benefit from additional behavioral and emotional support.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in creative, age-appropriate activities that support both fun and development. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include arts and crafts, story time with interactive play, outdoor adventures like park visits and nature walks, and music or dance parties to get their energy out.
I also enjoy incorporating simple learning moments into the day—whether it’s counting during snack time, exploring colors and shapes, or doing sensory play with little ones. With my background in education and behavior support, I naturally include positive reinforcement, emotional check-ins, and activities that help children build confidence and regulate big feelings in a healthy way.
Most importantly, I love creating a warm, safe, and joyful environment where children feel seen, supported, and excited to learn and play each day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me about being a nanny is the opportunity to be an integral part of a child’s development during some of their most formative years. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Whether it’s supporting emotional growth, encouraging developmental milestones, reinforcing learning, or simply being a steady and loving presence, I value the role a nanny plays in shaping a child’s confidence and sense of security.
I truly love pouring into children, celebrating their small wins, guiding them through big feelings, and helping them discover new interests and abilities. I want to be a safe space where they feel comfortable exploring new hobbies, trying new things, asking questions, and being fully themselves.
To me, being a nanny isn’t just about supervision, it’s about connection, trust, and helping children grow into confident, curious, and emotionally secure individuals.

My experience with special needs children...
I love spending my days with little ones through play, creativity, and lots of encouragement! With babies, I enjoy tummy time, sensory play, singing songs, reading board books, and supporting those important early milestones. For toddlers and young children, I love arts and crafts, park adventures, dance parties, imaginative play, and simple learning games. With older kids (up to age 10), I enjoy homework support, creative projects, outdoor activities, and helping them build confidence and independence.
My goal is always to create a safe, joyful space where children feel loved, supported, and free to grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories from working with PreK3/PreK4 was with a little boy who had a hard time separating from his mom in the mornings. Almost every day started with tears, hiding under tables, or refusing to join the class. Instead of rushing him, I started creating a small “morning ritual” just for us. We would sit by the window, take three deep “superhero breaths,” and I’d let him tell me one thing he was excited about, even if it was something small like snack time.
One morning, after a few weeks of consistency, he walked in, looked at me, and said, “Can we do our breaths now?”, but this time without tears. A few days later, he came in smiling and joined circle time on his own. Watching him slowly build trust, confidence, and emotional regulation was such a full-circle moment for me.
It reminded me that sometimes kids don’t need a big solution, they just need someone steady, patient, and safe.
