A little bit about me

My name is Alexandra. I would love the opportunity to work with your children. I have just graduated from Ohio University in May, with a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I also have a minor in Psychology, and graduated undergrad in three years. I have been accepted to attend graduate school in the fall for a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology, in a highly competitive program. My career goal, is to be able to work at CHOP as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and improve the lives and communication needs of children. I am home for the summer in South Jersey, and would love the opportunity to get more hands on childcare and education experience. I have been a figure skating coach for the past 7 years at Ohio University. I also have my certification, and background check from coaching. Aside from coaching, I nanny for a few of my professors and students, as they have extremely busy schedules.While I am home, I have had an Engineering Co-Op every summer at the Philly Shipyard, nanny, and an internship at a Speech Therapy office in Marlton, New Jersey. I have my drivers license, and an excellent driving record. I really enjoy outdoor activities, games, dancing, reading and staying active. I love to cook, coming from a very Italian family, especially healthy food.
