Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting up and active with the kids outside whether it is sports, going for a walk or an activity we can do at the park or in the yard. I enjoy safely having them help me cook or bake, which decorating anything we bake is always a favorite. I personally love to read so I highly encourage the kids I work with to read as well if they are interested. I also really enjoy art where the kiddos can express themselves however they want. I also enjoy board games. Honestly, whatever activites the kids enjoy I am good to go with! As long as everyone is enjoying themselves, that is what matters.

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with multiple children on the Autism spectrum, youth who have ADHD and ADD, youth with certain disabilities, and overall many youth who struggle with behavior and strong emotions.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are when I get to help the children I'm with find a new passion or even pursue one that they already have. Whether it is a new sport or game they like, art, writing or anywhere in between. Getting to see a child find something that they love and want to continue to do is amazing to watch.
