A little bit about me

My name is Alex ! I have tons of experience from years in childcare in the infant and crawler rooms as a lead teacher and am excited to take on nannying so I can give one of your little ones my full attention! My heart resides in bonding with a baby as I help grow and reach their full potential and it is always fulfilling for me to help parents take care of their 'minis' while they take care of themselves and what is important and necessary for themselves and families to thrive. I have some background in nutrition, and am working on my real estate license to practice in both here in KY and FL. I currently work at Kayfield Academy 2 and am the Lead crawler 2 teacher. I hope I get the chance to meet some of you wonderful families out there soon who are looking for assistance😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Stroller rides! Water activities weather permit, park and zoo activities. Bubble machines ! Teaching them about different textures (6/7months& older)

The most important part about being a nanny...

You are helping not only a child be better which is rewarding in itself you are helping a family be stronger in the parts where they cannot be. Raising a family takes a village.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not cared for special needs yet, but my mother is a teacher consultant and has worked with all ranges of special needs and behavioral disorders and now gets teachers trained and ready for this in JCPS. If a child had special needs, i would not be scared to take on the task but honored and ready to learn more on how to help so that i can help future children with these conditions

The most important part about being a nanny...

I absolutely love watching my kids mimick the exact thing you are trying to teach them for the first time. When it is sooo frustrating for you at the beginning and then it pays off when they do it on their own without help or even you trying to assist, its the most beautiful moment life can hand you. Children are so smart.
