More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a nanny and babysitter for 4 years for 5 separate families, but I have cared for many children over the course of years not from just babysitting or being a nanny, I was a manager at Urban Air Adventure Park where I had to watch over children to ensure their safety. We had camps that I would counsel where I watched over kids from ages 5-15, I played with them, fed them, and allowed them to have fun activities throughout.

I did Cheerleading throughout my life. With that I helped host camps for children to learn. We would teach them, feed them, and house them for a few days and it was a really fun experience and environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being able to take kids to parks or to play outside because I believe it is very important to be outside during the day for at least a short period of time so that they learn that not everything has to be done inside and being outside in nature just playing can be just as fun! I also love being able to do whatever the kids want to do, whether that is playing dress up or playing with dolls, either way I love bringing out children's imagination and creativity

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love every moment I get to spend with any child, but one that stuck out to me was my one family I had where she had a 1 year old baby boy. Now he was at the age of learning to walk, but was not yet walking. Throughout the day I was assisting him in walking. Then about an hour after his mom had arrived home from work I had just finished up some cleaning when I hear my name called and when I came over to the room he started walking. The look on his mothers face of pure joy lit me up and she thanked me. This is the reason it was my favorite moment because seeing how I helped her son and brought this joy in to her day really made me show why I love to do what I do!
