More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered for a year at a local private religious daycare where I myself attended school for over a decade. I attended mostly to children ages 5-11 and my responsibilities included but were not limited to:

-Meal/Food preparation
-Basic first Aid
-Organizing/Supervising children's activities (Sports, Field Trips, Study Hall, Music time, etc...)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I adore Singing Disney songs and watching Disney movies along with lots of other children's entertainment. I also love to bake yummy treats and and am always very patient when teaching kids to do the same. I enjoy helping children in their studies and am an exceptionally good English tutor.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Building an honest, safe, and loving relationship with not only the child but the parents as well will always be the most important part of childcare for me. I consider being a part of a Childs life to be a privilege because I find that no matter how much you teach a child there is always something to learn from them as well.

My experience with special needs children...

During my high school career I was on the Board of a club called "Teen Connection" which specialized in bridging the social gap between disabled students and their fellow classmates. I was mainly in charge of organizing and planning our fund raising events. One event in particular I was very fond of was when we (the leaders of Teen Connection) were given the chance to assist a disabled student from another school district in finding a gift for their loved ones in the holiday season. We partnered up with Macys and they even closed down the entire store for an hour so that we could have the best shopping experience possible. Seeing the smile on my students face made me feel amazing and I want to be able to continue to help children (Disabled or not) for the rest of my life.
