My name is Alexis, Im 24 years old and I graduated from Northeast Senior Highschool in 2017. I have babysat for family and friends and I have a 2 almost 3 year old son and a 5 month old son. I also took 3 years of Child Development in school. My dream as a kid was always to babysit when i grew up, I started a little bit of a different carrier working in fast food, then retail manager at cvs and also in the pharmacy, i also worked at an obgyn office for about a year, i have worked in the babysitting business for alittle over 2 years now and it has been my absolute favorite job! Babies and children excite me and bring me 100% joy. I love teaching them and playing with them and just being able to care for them while you parents are doing what you need to do to take care of your babies.❤️

I have helped family and friends, I did child development for 3 years in highschool, worked as a nanny for 2 beautiful little girls, helped out at an in home daycare, babysat a family of 4 and occasionally watched 2 little girl siblings and another little girl, recently babysat 2 newborns.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play any games/learning games that the children want to play, I love interacting with babies and helping them learn the basics such as waving, talking, and even sign language. I absolutely love to do any kind of craft, and i love taking them outside for walks, to the park, and just some backyard play. I love music and dancing with the children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is for one caring for the children as my own and making sure there 100% safe. Number 2 is teaching them, not only there Abc's and 123's and colors and shapes but also respect for others and manners. Last but not least having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would have to say I have two things that are super memorable. I watched a 4 year old and she was one of the smartest/sassy little girl youll ever meet. We always played lots of learning games, read books, and did a craft everyday. She was super shy but warmed up to me very fast and that made me ecstatic as I was a stranger to her. My other favorite memory is when I watched a family of 4, the two oldest went with there dad for the summer and I only had the two younger children 4 and 5. They were always glued to there tablets so I bought a little blow up pool and some pool toys and of course sun screen. We would go outside for hours and play in the pool and they had a blast. They never wanted to get out even for lunch but of course they had to eat so we would take a break to eat lunch and then get back in until 30 minutes before there parents arrived to pick them up. They were so excited each day to come back and sometimes didnt want to leave. They assured me of doing a great job!
