Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I do not have work experience being a nanny, but for the past year I have been taking care of my best friends two boys Isaac (1yr old) and Bryan (5yr old). I looked after them mon-fri from 7:30am-5:30pm. Both boys were wonderful we watched movies, when it wasn't hot we went to the park and played soccer or ran around in the grass, and we did fun activities at home as well. I may not have worked for an unknown family, but I do consider this an experience for this job.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities I like to do outdoor is taking a walk at the park, playing on the grass part at the park, having picnics, or simply just being outside so the kids can get fresh air even if its just in the backyard. Indoor activities, depending on the age of the child, we can play hide and seek, I like to take coloring books or art things do get their creative minds going, we can have dance parties with appropriate music, I like to do kids yoga with the older children to keep them calm especially if they are having a hard time with school work a breathing break always help clear the mind, I also like to play with them with their toys and take into consideration what they may want to do, and lastly movies are always fun to watch.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is always putting the child's safety and needs first. I make sure that the child is not in any dangerous situations in which they could get hurt. Watching over them the entire time that they are under my care. Following the parents instructions if a specific routine is in place. Making sure the child is fed and cleaned up. Helping them with homework or teaching them something new a long the way. To me as long as the child is safe and happy then I am doing my job.
