Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked at a summer camp for 3 years with children ages 4-13 years of age. I was a counselor so I basically watched the kids all day, helped them activities all the way until it was there bedtime. I also volunteered at my church working with kids at a summer day camp program helping with activities and snack time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
are coloring, reading books to them, helping them with their homework if needed, dancing, virtual games, anything the child is interested in I am willing to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would have to say would be being able to understand how the child works and growing a bond with them. I think it is also important to show them kindness and love and help them grow and learn alongside the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
was at the summer camp I worked at and a couple of kids that I worked with had either autism, ADHD, ADD, or slight bi-polar disorder.
