A little bit about me

My name is Alexis. I recently relocated from Salt Lake City, Utah and I am looking for a nanny position. I taught Preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade for 6 years in Utah while completing my Master's degree in 2019. Prior to living in Utah, I resided in California where I babysat for several families with children ranging from newborn to school-age. I also volunteered at the local children's hospital for several years while completing my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Child Development. I am fully licensed as an educator in Texas and Utah. I believe in meeting the child where they are while supporting and encouraging their growth. I am knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate practices for all ages and will bring a fun and positive personality to your family! I am strongly play-based in my practice and believe that children learn the most when they are participating in meaningful and engaging activities. I am comfortable with most home responsibilities and tasks and any pets.
