A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Alexis and I am a graduate of the College of Atmospheric and Geographic science at the University of Oklahoma. I really love the outdoors and have two dogs that love to go on adventures with me. I have been an Endangered Species Biologist, a college advisor and a Chemist but my heart has always been with teaching. I have had ample experience working with children, as I nannied during college as well as homeschooled an elementary aged child for a school year. I also taught gymnastics and yoga at the "Little Gym" while I was in college. I have a lot of experience with infants and nannied for a family for three years (1-3years old) while I had summers off when advising, before they moved. I am very passionate about teaching and children's success. I am very fervent about creating an environment that cultivates personal growth and understanding. I'm a big believer in gentle parenting and talking things through. I am really looking forward to hearing from you!
