More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I adore kids and have worked at an overnight summer camp for girls in Brevard, North Carolina for the past three summers. At camp I was an activity counselor for archery, tennis, and volleyball, and also a head counselor for the 12-year old's cabin. During high school I also enjoyed babysitting and working a kids summer surf camp on Folly Beach.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
During high school, I really enjoyed making crafts with the kids I babysat. We would sit together and create crafts that they could show their parents later on. We made bird houses, hand turkeys, and more! I also really enjoyed reading books to them and playing games outside.

I think the most important part about being a nanny is ensuring the safety and happiness of children.

I don't have experience with special needs children, but one of my campers that I cared for last summer did have special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny has to be hearing about kids' days before going to bed. I used to play a game with my campers and kids I babysat called rose, bud, thorn. I noticed that the kids really enjoyed talking about the positives, negatives, and anticipations of their day, and it was a good way for them to wind down before bed.
