A little bit about me

I live by myself in Hurricane with my fur babies and enjoy curling up on my couch watching movies or reading a book with them cuddling on my days off. I went to EMT classes at dixie tech in St. George for more schooling after I graduated highschool. I love anything outdoors like camping or fishing. My family means the world to me and I love spending time with them! I also love crafts and anything I can make with my hands. I've always loved working with or around kids and have experience in daycare settings with 20 kids under my care or being a private nanny for fewer kids!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at a daycare from April 2022 to November 2022. I was taking care of up to 20 children on my own with the ages ranging from 2- 11 years old. I have also been a private nanny for 2 kids ages 3 and 6. I realized now I want to just focus on a few kiddos instead of a daycare class and have more one on one experiences and build stronger relationships! I used to babysit in highschool as well and was even a first grade teacher's helper my senior year!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love activities where the children can be more creative and engaging. Magnetic building sets or wooden pattern blocks are always fun! I love having dance parties or playing kids just dance songs for us to follow along to. Fun outside games could consist of eye spy, soccer/catch, or any make believe world games that could be made up!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think it's most important to always put the children first and make them the priority in every situation. Every child deserves a caring and loving environment to grow up in! I always wanna make sure that the children I take care of know I love them and would do anything to keep them safe and happy!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with several children that have had trauma or autism related behaviors.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favourite moments was when one of my kiddos ran up to me and gave me the biggest hug before they left for the day because they forgot to give me one when they got to the daycare from school. We of course always had to have our daily hugs! 😊
