Hello! My name is Alexxa, and I’ve been working in childcare for about 5 years now! I currently work at a daycare primarily in the 0-12 month age group. I have the most experience with ages 0-5, but I enjoy interacting with kids of all ages!
I am a self-proclaimed child development nut, and I have put countless hours into learning about how to help nurture children’s developing minds. I have been volunteering at various childcare programs since I was 14! Mostly summer camps before I got into my daycare in 2024.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely adore finding crafts to do with the kids (age and motor skills permitting). If not old enough to do crafts, I love a sensory activity! Not only can they help develop those fine motor skills for crafts, but it’s so fun for the kids.
I am also a huge fan of outside time. It gives the kids a chance to use their imagination as well as get a little energy out.

I actually have a sibling with autism, but I have worked with a few children with special needs at the daycare as well
