A little bit about me

I am an enthusiastic sitter studying Psychology and Business Administration at the University of Southern California. My friends and family describe me as energetic, optimistic and diligent. For the past three years I have been a behavior technician meaning I assist behavior analysts implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans in children with Autism, Neuropsychological Pediatric Behaviors, and Learning Disabilities; ADD/ADHD. I act as a one-on-one teacher guiding students through language development, behavior management, and the amelioration of social skills through the use of ABA therapy. In order to become a behavioral technician, I went through extensive online and in-person training to ultimately be granted my official certification. Additionally, I worked as a tutor for the ACHIEVE After School Program in Boston. I worked closely with middle school aged students helping in a variety of subject areas and in developing social skills.
