Hey there! My name is Aliah, and I grew up in a big family where I've always been surrounded by kids of all ages. During my high school years, I did an internship at a preschool, where I helped the kids with their tasks, joined them for story time, and had a blast creating colorful arts and crafts with them. Then, I got the amazing opportunity to work at Great Wolf Lodge as an entertainer ambassador. I organized dance parties, told bedtime stories, hosted family trivia, played kids' bingo, and did fun arts and crafts like making buttons. I also spent a year babysitting four children, ages 2, 4, 7, and 12. From taking them to the park and treating them to ice cream, to playing board games and having movie nights, it was a joy to be a part of their lives. I'd also pitch in with cooking and house cleaning, and then help the little ones get ready for bed.

In my junior year of high school, I took an elective class as a teacher assistant in the preschool that is in the high school. I assisted the kids with their learning letters, and playing with the kids. I also did babysitting for a year on and off With many younger cousins, between the ages 1-13 years. This introduced me to the many aspects that go into child care, things such as the attention kids need, finding good solutions to bad behavior, meals, cleaning up after, and proper bedtimes.

When I'm around children, my absolute favorite things to do are painting and playing a scavenger hunt game. I love seeing their faces light up with joy when they find the hidden objects. I also enjoy having movie nights with some popcorn, as it feels like a perfect way to end the day.
