As a child, I spent most of my time in daycare at Texas Christian Preschool and Daycare with my 2 siblings. I was really into teaching and taking care of children, so the daycare teachers for the infants and toddlers would often invite me over into their classes to assist them when they needed help. When my sister was born , I was very hands on in helping my mom which developed my infant care skills and further on, my toddler handling skills. Once in a while, when I visit my hometown of Brownsville, Texas, I am contacted by a previous mom whom I’ve babysat for. She currently has a 10 month old daughter who’s already walking, taking a bit, and eats semi solid foods. If you would like to contact her as a reference, I would be more than glad to provide her contact number upon her approval. My family members often leave their children in my care when needed.
