A little bit about me

I am a Montessori preschool teacher living on the Upper West Side! I have worked as a teacher for the past 2 years and love working with children, but I am looking to transition to a position where I can focus more on one child and build a relationship with that child and their family. I worked as an au pair for a summer in college and loved the family dynamic that I formed with the parents as well as the child, and I would love to find that intimacy again. As a teacher, I am certified in all health and CPR categories, and I am an experienced early childhood educator. I pride myself on forming deep and meaningful connections with children and always find ways to make them feel seen and feel special. I love playing with kids outdoors, being active with them and being silly; I strive to act as a friend and not just a teacher or caregiver.
