I ran my own in‑home daycare years ago and also worked in several childcare centers, both while my children were younger and after my youngest started school. I’m a mother of four and a very active grandmother — not the “old” kind, but the full‑of‑energy, always‑moving, kid‑loving kind. I provide a structured, dependable environment while still keeping things fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. I enjoy a wide variety of activities with children, both indoors and outdoors. Depending on their ages, I love doing outdoor play, walks, parks, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and simple nature activities. Indoors, I enjoy games, crafts, reading, sensory play, building, and even relaxing movie time when it fits the day. I’m very hands‑on, full of energy, and genuinely love spending time with kids. I always keep things fun while still providing structure, routines, and responsibility.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where children feel secure, happy, and excited to spend their day. I believe in building real connections — when the kids take to me, I take to them, and everything feels natural. I value structure, consistency, and responsibility, but I also make sure there’s plenty of fun, laughter, and moments that make them feel seen and supported. Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me; it’s being a steady, positive part of a child’s everyday life.

I previously cared for two children for a single mother, and one of them was a special‑needs little girl. She connected with me quickly and did extremely well in my care. I focused on patience, consistency, and creating a calm, structured environment that helped her feel safe and supported.
