A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Alicia. I am 48 and and I am the mother of 7 wonderful children and 6 stepchildren. I absolutely love kids and all but 1 of my children have grown up and moved away. I have a 12 year old at home but she is in school all day and I miss having little ones at home so I thought this would be great career for me. I am CPR certified and a CASA volunteer for children in foster care..(which requires a background check). I also have been a teachers aid. I just had my first grandchild and he lives in NC and just went to daycare. Being a 1st time grandma I really struggled with the idea of him being in daycare and hoping that he will be loved and taken care and his needs will be met. If I get the privilege of watching your children I will make sure that they are taken care just like the wish I have for my grandchild.
