A little bit about me

I live in Chapel Hill where I grew up and raised my kids who are now 21 and 18. They have both recently moved out and on to full time college and work. My house is strangely quiet, but it makes me smile to know they are on to an exciting new chapter. I have worked as a licensed optician for 15 years,a career I enjoyed and that enabled me to support my family as a single Mom. Ive decided to make a career change and am seeking PT hours while switch gears professionally. Aside from raising my own kids, I worked in a daycare part time in college when my kids were very young, planned creative art projects for large groups of kids preK=HS in a church for many years and have been cub scout leader, assistant coach etc. I enjoy childcare at all ages and stages and look foward to getting to know your little (or not so little) ones! I know how hectic life can be maintaing a family and home and am happy to help alleviate the 'to do' list as well if it would help to support your household.
