More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I also cared for children volunteering at a therapeutic equine center in Poway few days, where I supported children with disabilities during horse-assisted activities. I assisted with walking and supported emotional regulation and confidence-building in a calm, structured environment.
This experience strengthened my ability to stay patient, observant, and responsive to different needs, especially with children who require extra emotional or physical support. It also helped me develop strong awareness of safety, non-verbal communication, and adapting quickly to each child’s comfort level and abilities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children depend on their age, developmental stage, and individual needs. With infants, I focus on sensory play, bonding, gentle interaction, reading, and supporting healthy routines like feeding and naps.
With toddlers and older children, I enjoy more interactive activities such as outdoor play, walks, simple arts and crafts, music, reading, and movement-based games that support coordination and curiosity.
I also adapt based on each child’s personality and needs, as well as the parents’ lifestyle and preferences, whether that means creating a more calm, structured environment or engaging in more active and playful activities.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes supporting children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome in both structured and daily care environments. I am familiar with adapting routines, communication, and activities based on each child’s individual needs, attention span, and sensory preferences.
I also have experience supporting and following through with therapeutic routines, including physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy exercises when part of a child’s care plan. This has helped me understand the importance of consistency, patience, and collaboration with therapists and parents to support the child’s development.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are being part of a child’s milestones and development in general. I also really value the everyday bonding moments, where trust builds naturally through play, routines, and connection. Those small but meaningful moments are what make the work very special to me.
