More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool Lead teacher for 3 years where I worked for almost five and a half years.
Previously attended TMCC and UNR for ECE and Elementary Education. Changed my major to Dance before the pandemic started.
I am also a dance instructor at a local studio and have been teaching for about 8 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love music, dancing, art projects, walks in nature (not a fan of bugs), reading, and creative play. Imagination is the best!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Cultivating a fun, safe, and happy environment with the children and an open relationship with the parents. With that in mind, it’s important to me that the family I work with is LGBTQIA+ friendly.

My experience with special needs children...

While I did take courses on Special Education and was blessed to work with a child with Autism, I have little hands on experience with children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite teacher moment was seeing a baby I cared for graduate Pre-K and move on to Kinder-garden. The growth in those early years is astounding and the love I have for my students will never leave.
