Hello! I’m Alison!
I am 22 years old, and I have a reliable car. I have been CPR and First Aid Certified in previous years, although certifications are currently not up to date. I take pride in how I carry myself, and how my person could affect others. I have a lot of medical knowledge from my high school studies, and I am currently working full time as a saw machine operator for safety critical car parts! Growing up I helped raise my brother with autism, and I have had multiple children in my care for family or friends to go have a relaxing day! I have also been a consistent caregiver for a family friend with her two children under 9 for upwards of months at a time. I am also a step mother to a beautiful 6 year old girl, and I could not be more proud. I love talking care of children, cooking meals, playing with them, helping them know their worth, engaging their brain in stimulating activities, and helping them grow into the best person they could be!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for my autistic brother. I am also a step mother to a 6 year old girl, and I have taken care of around 5 other children close to toddler age for family/friends!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love painting, putting puzzles together, reading, barbie’s, drawing with chalk, playing hide and seek or tag, having dance parties, crafts, playing with cars, riding bikes, going to the park, and most things in between! Unless it’s a safety hazard, if a child wants to play a game or something, or even just get out some built up energy, I’m down no questions asked! I really love being able to follow the child’s energy and excitement towards what they really love, and build their passions.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure that at the end of the day, the child is safe, and never questions their worth or how loved they are. It is very important to me that a child is always safe, loved and catered to in any specific way. The child should never go to bed at night questioning if they are safe or loved by all parties around them. I try to be a positive influence to help children grow into the best, brightest versions they could be with a safe environment to be in. I strive for safe environments both mentally and physically, as I believe that is a huge part is a child’s upbringing. I enjoy making it a little bit easier, and give the child a broader range of love and care.

My experience with special needs children...

My mother was single most of my childhood, and I have a brother Alex, who is 5 years older than me. I helped my mom raise him into the wonderful man he is. Growing up with a special needs brother, there was a lot of work with medication adjustments, and environmental adjustments. I have learned patience, and deep understanding for the specified needs of someone who is different than I.
