More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 5 years of babysitting experience caring for children of different ages. I’ve also worked with youth through the Boys & Girls Club and through mentoring and educational workshops for children and teens in my community. I currently tutor my younger family members as well, helping with reading, math, creativity, and life skills in fun and interactive ways.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy arts and crafts, movie nights, outdoor activities, baking/cooking together, educational games, reading, sensory activities, hands-on learning projects, and creating fun routines that keep children engaged while still learning. I also love helping children build confidence and express themselves creatively.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Not just physically safe, but emotionally safe too. Kids remember how you made them feel. A great nanny isn’t only supervising children, they’re building trust, consistency, patience, and comfort. Especially when parents are away, you become part of the child’s sense of stability.
I’d also say adaptability is huge. Every child is different. Some need structure, some need reassurance, some need creativity and engagement. The best nannies know how to adjust while still maintaining boundaries, care, and reliability.
And honestly, communication matters just as much. Parents need to feel they can trust you completely with updates, honesty, routines, and their child’s wellbeing.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience being patient, understanding, and adaptable with children who may need extra support, encouragement, or different learning approaches. I understand the importance of communication, routine, emotional support, and creating a calm and safe environment where every child feels included and cared for.
