Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
The only time I really cared for kids was when I was at a family-friends house and other friends would come over with there kids. I would normally entertain them and interact with them. I also babysat my little siblings several times over the years and I have babysat outside of family only once or twice. I am told that kids love me because of my energy and when I interact with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy art, reading, singing, and board games. I will even interact with the kids when it comes to playing with toys. I have a 7-year old brother and sister I constantly had to help with reading, sight words, and other educational needs. I am very fun and energetic when I'm around energetic kids. I am told that kids absolutely love me. For outdoor activities I would love walking the kids to the parks and I would play some sports with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a Nanny is to be another parental figure for the children, while the main parental figures are busy helping provide for the family or to complete certain tasks that involves leaving the children alone.
My experience with special needs children...
I sadly don't have any experience with kids of special-needs. I am a very patient person and I am open to try something new.
