A little bit about me

Hello! I'm a child at heart, with multiple years of babysitting and early education (toddler, pre-school, kindergarten-aged) experience. I'm currently working as a teaching assistant at Apple Montessori and am looking for afternoon/evening positions.

That being said, I am open to accepting a full-time position. I would just need the appropriate amount of time to give notice to my present employer.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've worked quite a few jobs in which I was either an assistant or head childcare facilitator at a daycare.

June 2015–– August 2015
Cliffside Park Recreation
Oversaw the safety and activities of several children, ranging from as young as 6 years old to much older 13 years olds.

June 2016–– August 2016
Galaxy Kids
Acted as a both a teacher and a caregiver to a start-up daycare. Cared for children in the age range of 5-10 years old.

October 2019–– present
Apple Montessori
Acts as a teaching assistant in a toddler classroom. Manages food prep, diaper changing duties, nap duties, and cleaning of the classroom, in addition to regular care given to the children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love reading to children. I have always been a voracious reader, and I love fostering that appreciate in others, especially those of a very young age.

I am also a fitness enthusiast, and so don't mind running around to keep up with child-tier energy levels!
